Students completing the clinical education earn a baccalaureate degree from affiliated universities, if applicable, and a certificate from NorthShore University HealthSystem. Awarding of the degree is not contingent on passing a national certification examination. Grades are accepted for credit by the degree-granting institution if applicable.
Graduates are eligible to take the following national certification examinations.
Certification: Medical Laboratory Scientist - MLS (ASCP)
