Notice: Before leaving home, check to be sure your local Immediate Care Center is still accepting patients for the day. Due to high patient volume and healthcare shortages, Immediate Care reservations sometimes fill up for the day before the office closes.

Orthopaedic Immediate Care
NorthShore Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine physicians know your injuries, symptoms and conditions can require immediate care, which is why we offer convenient, same-day visits for all of your orthopaedic concerns. Ligament and tendon injuries, muscle tears, fractures—we cover every orthopaedic issue. The locations have on-site radiology, casting, durable medical equipment, and are staffed by board-certified and fellowship-trained physicians. No appointment is necessary.
Please note that Orthopaedic Immediate care locations do not offer COVID-19 testing. Seek out a regular Immediate Care site for any care concerns related to symptoms that could be consistent with COVID-19.

Given the resurgence of COVID-19 in the community, a telehealth appointment with their healthcare provider may be a safer option for many of our patients.
Existing appointments — Your physician may reach out to you to convert an in-person visit to a telehealth visit when clinically appropriate.
New appointments — Some physicians offer the ability to schedule telehealth visits on NorthShoreConnect. Look for the option to schedule a video or phone visit when scheduling your appointment or ask about a telehealth visit when calling for your appointment.
Enhanced Telehealth powered by TytoCare
TytoCare is a handheld exam kit used to enhance the NorthShore video visit experience. This portable medical exam kit allows you to capture physical exam data, like heart and lung sounds or ear and throat pictures, and share it, using your smart device, with the NorthShore Immediate Care team from the comfort and safety of your home. Using this information, and other details provided during the visit, the team can make a diagnosis and offer a treatment plan, including prescriptions - if needed.
NorthShore now provides great care even when you can’t make it to our office. Using our secure online portal, patients can consult with a doctor from home, or wherever they are. Visit NorthShoreConnect online, or download the app to initiate an evisit today if you’re experiencing one of the following conditions:
- Back pain
- Red eye
- Sinus problems
