The fellow call is shared by all of the radiology fellows at Evanston Hospital. The on-call fellow is responsible for primary coverage of Highland Park Hospital from home and backup home coverage for the radiology resident on call at Evanston Hospital. Average case volume on call is anywhere from 5-20 cases. The fellows are paid extra for this Sunday/Monday call.
Call hours are as follows:
On call Sunday 12 pm through Monday 8 am
On call Monday 11 pm through Tuesday 8 am
Fellows are given time off on post-call days.
