Application Process

Pre-requisite/Training/Selection Criteria

Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in Orthopaedic Surgery is required. Candidates with additional post-graduate training will also be considered. Candidates must have demonstrated a commitment to excellence in clinical endeavors, education and research during GME training by providing evidence of active participation in educational or research programs.

U.S. applicants are welcomed to apply. At this time, NorthShore does not accept international applicants for the Adult Reconstruction Fellowship Program.

The NorthShore Orthopaedic & Spine Institute Adult Reconstruction Fellowship Program is a non-ACGME fellowship and utilizes the SF Match Residency and Fellow Match Services.

  1. Applications will be accepted through the SF Match web site.
  2. Please follow all SF Match requirements and include three letters of recommendation, CV and USMLE scores.
  3. Applicants must meet IDFPR qualifications for a permanent State of Illinois Physician License and Controlled Substance License and DEA number, required for employment at NorthShore University HealthSystem.
  4. No mailed or faxed applications will be accepted.
