Pediatric Ophthalmology

Pediatric vision problems may be very different than those typically seen in adults. As your child’s eye sight develops, various vision disorders and difficulties may require pediatric eye care including examination, testing and management.

Our team specializes in a wide range of pediatric ophthalmologic conditions, such as amblyopia (lazy eye), pediatric cataracts, blocked tear ducts, retinopathy of prematurity, strabismus (misalignment) and other eye conditions.

From offering vision screenings for infants in our ISCU at Evanston Hospital, to providing standard vision tests for back-to-school, to managing severe and vision threatening pediatric eye diseases, our team at NorthShore is here to offer comprehensive pediatric eye care and keep your child’s vision on track.
