Our Voice Center provides minimally-invasive and convenient treatment to patients with a wide variety of voice problems. Several conditions, such as lesions and growths of the vocal cords, can be treated through advanced surgical techniques using the KTP laser. By specifically targeting the affected area, the KTP laser minimizes damage to surrounding healthy tissue and provides quick recovery for patients.
More long-lasting and recurrent issues can also be managed by a specialist with the use of layngeal injections. Many injections can be administered in the office setting in around ten minutes, offering patients relief from conditions such as vocal cord paralysis, laryngeal papillomatosis and spasmodic dysphonia.
Some conditions may be treated in conjunction with voice therapy with one of our experienced Voice Pathologists. Voice therapy involves learning how to use your voice optimally for speaking and singing. Your voice pathologist will help you to identify specific behaviors related to vocal health and voice use that impact your voice quality and will create an individualized treatment plan for you.
