As part of your annual physical or exam, you will be assigned the Genetic and Wellness Assessment (GWA). Based on your answers and if you consent to testing, an order will be placed on behalf of your physician for genetic testing.
Patients scheduled for a mammogram will be assigned the Breast Health Assessment (BHA) to evaluate your level of risk for certain health conditions related to breast health. Based on your answers and if you consent to testing, you will have the opportunity to provide a saliva sample at your mammography appointment.
- If you are interested in learning about you risk for certain cancers, heart conditions, and how your body might process certain medications, the Genetic Health Screen is available to you at a low out-of-pocket cost.
- If you have a family history of cancer, we also offer a hereditary cancer test that is billed to your insurance through our genetic testing partner.
- Your results can help your physician develop a screening and prevention plan best tailored to you.
