Research and Academic Interests

My primary research interest is maternal metabolic health and its impact on obstetric and fetal outcomes. I am also interested in cost-effectiveness analysis as a means to inform health-care decisions. I am also the Primary Investigator for the NorthShore site of the Northwestern University center of the NICHD-sponsored Maternal-Fetal Medicine Units Network. This network performs multi-center studies of pregnant women and their newborns.
