Want to spend the summer alongside some of the world's most brilliant minds? 

The NorthShore University HealthSystem Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship Program offers current undergraduates, going into their 3rd and 4th years, the opportunity to gain real-world, translational, medical research experience. NorthShore University HealthSystem Physicians and Scientists serve as program mentors. Depending on the mentor, students will be introduced to various types of research such as human subject research, clinical trial research, or wet-lab research. The research programs offer experience in a variety of different topics including Surgery, Cancer, Microbiology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Neuroscience, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Outcomes Research, and more.

Activities: Participants work in the lab on experiments, collect and analyze survey data, and help recruit and coordinate research studies.

Program Dates:  May 18, 2022 – September 18, 2022 

Stipend: This is a paid internship ($15/hour)
