The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences offers outpatient evaluations focusing on psychiatric medications.
This includes rapid assessment and stabilization, ongoing medication treatment or second opinions. We offer board-certified psychiatrists with experience in treating the young adult population and their unique needs, specifically focusing on mood and anxiety disorders as well as ADHD.
We are located conveniently near many major university and college campuses in the northern Chicago area and are easily accessible by public transportation. We also are able to assess and, at times, continue to work with young adults who are attending school out of the metropolitan area. For those patients who do live out of town, we make a special effort to accommodate for travel schedules.
Whether living locally or away, we are open to communicating and working in conjunction with a patient’s family as well as therapists, when appropriate, in coordinating care.
