The Bridges Early Childhood and Adolescent Program serves the needs of the children and adolescents who have been diagnosed with, or at risk for emotional, behavioral, social and/or developmental delays. Bridges clinicians also work with children, adolescents and their families that may have educational challenges and or family related conflicts.
The Bridges Program focuses on comprehensive, multidisciplinary mental health interventions and direct care to insured and uninsured children and adolescents between the ages of 3 and 18 living in the Evanston community. The Bridges team also treats children and adolescents in other communities surrounding NorthShore University HealthSystem.
Whenever appropriate, Bridges therapists may provide services to patients and families in their natural environment such as a daycare setting, school and in their homes.
Services provided are initial diagnostic psychosocial assessments, psychiatric evaluations, medication evaluations, ongoing medication management, individual and family therapy and educational advocacy. The Bridges clinicians also provide outreach and collaboration with providers within NorthShore University HealthSystem as well as community based agencies to ensure comprehensive care.
Our multidisciplinary team is staffed by a board certified child and adolescent psychiatrist, fellows in child and adolescent psychiatry, a registered nurse assisting in the medication clinic, clinical licensed social workers and master level graduate students in social work.
