4 Calorie-free and Flavorful Infused Waters to Keep You Hydrated

Friday, June 12, 2020 10:51 AM

Hot summer days are right around the corner so stay hydrated and feel refreshed with these fruit-infused waters! If you need a way to get excited about drinking water, this is it. The combinations are endless so you’ll never get bored!

Flavored waters can be stored in the fridge for up to 1 week. Lori Bumbaco, Oncology Dietitian at NorthShore’s Kellogg Cancer Center offers these suggestions to get you started.

Directions:

  1. For each combination, place fruit and/or herbs into a large glass with a lid. Muddle (or break) up the fruit a bit with the back of a spoon to help release the natural flavors into the water.
  2. Cover with 4 cups of water and place in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours.
