Hot summer days are here, so stay hydrated and feel refreshed with these fruit-infused waters!

If you need a way to get excited about drinking water, this is it. The combinations are endless so you’ll never get bored! Try one of these various recipes while enjoying the beautiful weather on your front porch, balcony, or in your backyard.

Flavored waters can be stored in the fridge for up to 1 week. Lori Bumbaco, Oncology Dietitian at NorthShore’s Kellogg Cancer Center offers these suggestions to get you started.

Directions:

  1. For each combination, place fruit and/or herbs into a large glass with a lid. Muddle (or break) up the fruit a bit with the back of a spoon to help release the natural flavors into the water.
  2. Cover with 4 cups of water and place in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours.
