Patient Safety

Steps To Keep You Safe

We have six key safety measures to keep people safe at all sites:

temperature screening
Screening of Staff and Visitors: limited entry points ensure that all staff, patients and visitors are screened before entering any facility; everyone must pass both a symptom and temperature evaluation.
Social distancing safeguards
Social Distancing Safeguards: This includes spaced seating, floor markings, signage and limited visitor policies.
virtual check-ins
Adjusted Scheduling/Virtual Check-Ins: Staggered appointment times and electronic check in to reduce traffic and minimize unneeded contact.
Face coverings/masks
Face Coverings/Masks For All: Staff wear face masks and eye protection and patients are asked to wear face coverings; masks will be provided if needed.
cleaning protocols
Rigorous Cleaning Protocols in All Areas: Cleaning protocols meet all recommended guidelines to keep everyone safe.
Hand Hygiene
Hand Hygiene: We are committed to safe hand hygiene practices; Every Patient, Every Time.

Options For Care

We understand that you are worried due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are taking careful steps to keep you safe. Part of being safe is getting the needed care to maintain your health. We have various options for care and it is important to realize that some conditions or types of care require an in-person evaluation and we don't want you to put yourself at risk by delaying needed care. We are confident that the safety practices are the right ones to keep you safe when you visit us.

In addition to our in-office visits we are now offering Telehealth Appointments to help you connect with our experts from the comfort of your home.

We are curretnly scheduling patients needing urgent non-COVID related surgery using our enhanced safety practices. We will continue surgical services to non-urgent care and we are able to do so because we feel confident in the steps we are taking to keep you safe. In addition to steps taken at all of our sites, patients undergoing non-urgent surgery or procedures at one of our hospitals will be screened for COVID-19 to ensure that we have all the information we need to care for everyone safely.
