My primary goal is to get my patients back to the activities that are important to them. I believe that communication is a crucial aspect of this. Care and healing is a process that goes hand in hand and is a collaborative effort between myself and my patients. My background in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine gives me the unique opportunity to facilitate this communication and treat the whole person.
I enjoy running, spending time with my wife and 3 children, coaching my kid's sports teams and anything to do with the weather.
Conditions & Procedures
Primary Care Sports Medicine,
the main problem I had was that I felt the assistent had better bedside manners, and that the doctor despite knowing my right hand was in pain (the reason I came for the visit) extended his right hand instead of the left.
I did not feel rushed and the doctor gave me his undivided attention.
Again, a very positive experience.
dr hoeper & his staff were wonderful !!!!
I wish they had shown me my x-rays.
I came in w significant knee pain, leaving on a 2 wk heavy walking trip in 2 days, knew I needed a cortisone shot but am a HUGE needle phobic and was petrified and had never had a cortisone shot. Dr Eric humored me by bringing syringe into the room under a towel so I wouldn?t see the needle, used a cold spray to numb my knee(double dose to make sure:)and then proceeded to give me a totally pain free injection! I actually accused him of giving me a placebo because I literally felt nothing ?? He was a jolly good sport in dealing w a neurotic 61 yo woman!Funny thing is I am a PT and frequently recommend cortisone shots to my patients never having had one- now I refer all my patients to Dr Eric for their injections !I was pain free on my trip and still so5 wks later??
Another Excellent experience at NS, thank you
very happy with Dr. and treatment
