Pharmacy

Specially trained Oncology Pharmacists are key members of the multidisciplinary care team participating in all aspects of the comprehensive oncology program. A pharmacy is located within each of the Kellogg Cancer Centers. The pharmacies prepare and dispense all medications including investigational agents for patients in the clinic after they are reviewed by oncology pharmacists. Oncology pharmacists work as part of the team with oncologists and nurses to provide optimal care for each individual patient. The pharmacists also participate in patient education, nausea/vomiting management, pain management and other symptom management.

We also offer an Outpatient Oncology Pharmacy for patients taking oral chemotherapy drugs at home.
