The physicians who prepare travel health recommendations are travel medicine experts with board certification in both Internal Medicine and Infectious diseases, and are all on the staff of Northwestern University Medical School. They will review your health history/travel plans and prepare individualized travel health and immunization recommendations according to current CDC guidelines and up-to-date country conditions.
Counseling and vaccine administration are performed by one of our fully registered nurses (RN) in our center located at Glenbrook Hospital Campus. In the exceedingly rare event there is ever a reaction to a vaccination, qualified Emergency Room personnel are only moments away to assist our patients. Travelers are individually counseled and provided with educational handouts including a summary of medical and social conditions in every country on their itinerary - from a source that is updated weekly.
