Healthy You

Please Support the COVID-19 Response Fund

Saturday, March 21, 2020 12:00 PM

I hope you and your family are staying healthy at this very challenging time.

All of us at NorthShore Foundation are profoundly grateful for the relationships we have built with our family of donors, some formed over many years and others established in recent days. Many of our supporters, and others who have never made a philanthropic gift to NorthShore, are asking how you can help our amazing clinical and operational colleagues in this COVID-19 fight—one that we’re all in together.

At this time, we are asking for your help in the fight against COVID-19.

As a trusted nonprofit healthcare partner in this community, we want to assure you that we are boldly tackling this health crisis. One example of our determination to lead is that we were the first hospital in the state to develop and deploy an in-house test, working in conjunction with the Illinois Department of Public Health. As was the case in 1891 when we were established in response to a typhoid fever outbreak, NorthShore is determined to provide safe and effective care for the patients and communities we are privileged to serve.

Right now, you can donate to NorthShore’s COVID-19 Response Fund to help our caregivers continue to deliver expert care on the front lines of this crisis. Your gift will immediately:

  • Expand our capabilities for COVID-19 testing
  • Increase availability of much-needed supplies
  • Enable us to hire and cross-train additional clinical staff
  • Help us further develop emergency preparedness and infection control

Please give today to help NorthShore stay strong in this fight. Tax-deductible donations—of all sizes—will make a difference. Your gift will help to save lives in our community.

Give Now

Your giving will power NorthShore. Thank you for partnership at a critical time in our community’s history.
