De-stress to lower your blood pressure

Stress is a major factor in contributing to high blood pressure, heart attacks and arrhythmias.

One way to relieve stress is to find a hobby that makes you happy, like yoga, running or playing an instrument.

Alan Zunamon, MD, a cardiologist with the NorthShore Cardiovascular Institute, de-stresses by taking a break from work and playing the piano in the Glenbrook Hospital lobby.
