Pay a Bill
My doctor said the problem was not bad in terms of health but she understood that it is annoying for my lifestyle and she gave me a recommendation.
Dr. Kramer is a rock star and a huge asset to NorthShore. She saved my life! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a well-educated, experienced, intelligent, highly-skilled, kind, and empathetic Ob/Gyn.
I had breast cancer/bilateral mastectomy 6 years prior at age 45, I wrote my chief complaint was painful intercourse. I was in excruciating pain through the exam, writhing in pain. I then also made a comment about my sadness about my hair loss due to the early menopause (removal of ovaries/mastectomy at45). She made a flippant comment and said, "well that's aging my dear, we all age." And I remarked, no. I was thrown into medical menopause early. I had Cancer, And she stopped and looked at me. I repeated, I went into menopause at 45, that's not normal. And she then said, "oh, yeah, you're right." She never addressed the pain, or the pain from the exam, or the flippant comment about my early menopausal symptoms.
I have been going to Dr. Kramer for years. She is thoughtful and thorough.
Level of information provided that would explain my symptoms / conditions was minimal. Without explaining or suggesting that my symptoms could be a result of pre-menopause, which I later figured out with internet searches, the doctor jumped to potential treatment options including hysterectomy! I now know erratic periods with longer duration are prevalent in 25% of premenopausal women. Just basic education on what to expect / common symptoms would have been helpful and was completely missed. Without sharing any information the doctor was adamant I repeat recently conducted tests / get more tests done.
Dr. Kramer is very thorough and kind, I recommend her to anyone who asks. She's the best!
Susan Kramer is second to none
This was my first visit with this physician (Dr Kramer). It was a great visit. She did not make me feel rushed at all and took time to discuss my concerns with me.
Dr. Kramer reviews my medical history prior to coming into the exam room and is already prepared for key items for discussion and/or concern, and she follows up on things we talked about in my prior year exam which I really appreciate. She takes the time to explain what tests are needed in the coming year and makes sure orders are placed for those tests.
