Primary Care Sports Medicine,
the training doctor showed concern and was friendly
This doctor is great, great, great!
I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Wielgus to anyone with sports injuries or other ortho issues. He is kind, relatable and extremely knowledgeable. And unlike so many other doctors, he actually listens. I feel like he made a thoughtful diagnosis after talking, doing an exam and then ordering xrays (in that order, which I appreciated).
Dr. W is smart and takes time to THINK about the patient and not simply REACT with cookie cutter solutions.
provider came in with a diagnosis to confirm and when the diagnosis really didn't make the most sense he made no effort to explore other diagnoses that may fit better, and instead brainstormed reasons why the presentation of the diagnosis might be different (but did not do any sort of physical examinations to test conclusions or other diagnoses). range of motion tests and muscle testing don't take very long to do, but justifying incorrect diagnoses does. i didn't feel heard in describing my symptoms and felt when he came in and tried to tell me what my symptoms were he was so caught up on symptoms that are either infrequent or that don't bother me at all, and brushed off the symptoms that most affect me. additionally, he pushed me to take medication and rolled his eyes when I said I don't like to take medicine unless it's really my last option
He is an excellent doctor
I was thoroughly impressed with my physician's care of my ailment
I described this on the first page
doctor was very "personable" which was much appreciatiated. he even suggested a solution to another issue that wasn't the reason for my visit that day....
