Conditions Pediatric (General)
We're lucky to have Dr. Rosenbaum as our daughter's pediatrician. He is attentive and patient and extremely thorough. As parents we feel well-informed and our adolescent daughter feels her privacy is respected.
Dr Rosenbaum spent the first five minutes of the exam time chastising me and attempting to embarrass me for not having filled out the first page of the sports physical form. The medical assistant gave me the form when we got into the exam room. We did not have sufficient time to fill out the entire form. Dr. Rosenbaum always made me as a parent feel attacked and criticized. His bedside manner is poor. He makes me feel as though any question I ask will be an opportunity for him to belittle me and my son. I made this appointment in haste in order to get the physical form filled out for my son. However, we will not be returning to see him again, this was the last straw and actually the whole visit with Dr. Rosenbaum was very upsetting. He always criticized my son saying that he is overweightmy son is an athlete who works out five days a week. He is muscular and solid, and most definitely not fat. This has a detrimental effect on my son after every visit. Dr. Rosenbaum should either retire or attend a class/seminar to relearn how to speak with his patients and their parents. Unacceptable. One last thing that is the most disturbing fact..Dr. Rosenbaum literally tries to prohibit his patients from scheduling with and seeing other drs in the practice. The one time I did this, I was called by a rude receptionist and my sons appointment was cancelled. I had to actually file a complaint. I was told I would have to call and speak with someone in the office to schedule with another dr. This is unfair and ludicrous practice.
The Dr was very condescending while talking to me. I came because my child had a recurring illness. He refused to give him a different antibiotics explained to me his illness was normal evebthough it's according every month to 2 months and refused to order vlood work like I ask to start digging into the issue. He absolutely did not listen to my concerns at all and talked to me like I was a 2 year old. I know my child He doesn't. This isn't the first bad experience with this doctor but I had no choice as he was the only one with an opening when I called.
We love dr Rosenbaum - he is amazing! Truly one of a kind pediatrician.
Dr. Rosenbaum is very thorough and attentive to each child. He is very methodical and logical with his approach. He makes the visit conversational to make sure he gets all of the information he needs before making an assessment. If you give him a concern, he will make sure to ask follow-up questions and make sure he understands what you are saying. When explains it back to you he backs it up with information and gives thorough verbal and written information. He is also very attentive to the whole child in that he cares about more than just their physical health and takes it into account when making assessments of their health and habits.
Dr. Rosenbaum achieved profound results in assisting our son to see why he needed to modify eating exercise and other behaviors. I still can't believe he got through to our son. The referrals he made it to other doctors supported the entire plan
Dr. Rosenbaum was terrific, knowledgeable, clear, reassuring, thorough and helpful. This was an incredibly positive experience and I'd happily recommend dr Rosenbaum.
He was rude and standoffish. Seemed frustrated with the mmmmm children who were sick and crying.
Not understanding of college limitations and athletic standard and requirements.
Dr. Rosenbaum was very attentive to my son, spoke in a manner level my son could relate to. After he Printed info for my son he gave him additional time to answer his questions. And answered them in a positive way with plenty of reassurance.
