No eye contact. Cold demeanor. Clipped answers. Announced he was a surgeon: "That's what I do," and seemed disappointed I refused the surgery option. Seemed annoyed that I asked him to slow down/ repeat certain things so that I could take notes. Seemed annoyed that I was taking notes at all; said "This will all be in printed Visit Summary"; it was not. Rushed in and out of room, although I had arrived and was called in 20 min early. His assistants were wonderful in advance of his entrance so I was shocked and disappointed, felt my questions largely answered by him. If I return I will ask for a different doctor, one less proud of being a surgeon and more inclined to listen and have a conversation about my concerns and questions.
I wouldn't recommend him only because he always running late
The above answers are about the PA who did the intake and exam. Dr. Nolden reviewed my radiographs and reassured me that all was well with my lumbar fusion, calming my fears.
Dr. Nolden gave me all the time I needed to ask questions, and he explained my options, which will be further discussed after my MRI results
Everything went as well past the scale of 5.
The PA and the physician were very thorough and caring. Explanations were never rushed and very focused on my care.
Whenever I hear someone who has back issues I ALWAYS recommend Dr. Nolden!
Dr Nolden is the best
Dr. Nolden is very professional with an excellent attention span for his patient. He takes the time to explain your health issues clearly.
