Very good bedside manner. I was actually here just for an annual physical; no actual issues. She was running late due to prior patient but I didn't feel rushed at all.
The visit itself was fine. It's the aftercare that was horrible. I sent Dr. Simms an email explaining that I was still in extreme pain and that the medicinal creams that she prescribed were not helping. In fact one was causing me intense pain and I believe I was allergic to that cream because all of a sudden I had patches of dry red skin on my hands. I explained that I was in so much pain that I couldn't sit, drive or sleep. She never bothered responding to my email. I called and left a message. She had her nurse call me and tell me that she marked my referral to a gynie as urgent. That is all she did for me. She didn't address the allergic reaction, the excruciating pain or any of my other concerns. This is horrible doctor care. She obviously doesn't give a crap. I am in intense pain, I do not know what's causing it and I'm scared. Is it too much to ask that my Doctor actually give a damn?
Dr Sims is a wonderful, caring physician. I am very satisfied with her as my primary care doctor.
Professional and helpful.
Dr. Sims is GREAT!
My Fair to Poor scoring is only because I feel like my concerns were not addressed. I gave specifics, she gave solutions but never examined the areas of concern. This was my annual check -up but she only listened to my heart and my lungs. Although she was pretty nice and conversational. I didn't feel like she was thorough enough in addressing my concerns.
Dr. Sims is the best.
*DR. SIMS IS THE BEST INTERNIST I CAN IMAGINE. She is professional and also expresses personal interest in us as a family.
My doctor, is the best! She took time to sit down with me and my mom to explain health concern questions and my medical history. She has a bright smile and cares a great deal, and I really appreciate her very much!
