Dr Abrams is very personable and always shows concern for my total care.
Every single time I have had an appointment with Dr. Abrams, she asks me if its my first visit to the office, or says its nice to meet you, or otherwise indicates that she has no idea who I am or that I have been her patient for almost 5 years. At one visit she called me by someone else's name and asked me a series of questions based on that woman's medical history, not mine. I have written her an email pointing out that she doesn't seem to know who I am and that concerns me, as she is my doctor. She assured me it wouldn't happen again, and then at the next visit (this one) she once again asked me if I had ever been in the office, if I was a new patient. I just couldn't believe it. I told her we have had this same conversation every visit for the last five years and she was surprised, once again as if she had no idea who I was. I suppose I don't have an expectation that my doctor recognize me by sight each time, but it seems like if Dr. Abrams had even once just glanced at my chart, or read some notes before entering the room, she might remember me. I will be looking for a new doctor.
Allready have recommended Dr. Abrahams.

I've known Dr. Abrams for a long time, and she is as much my friend as she is my doctor. I am always impressed by her concern for my mental well-being, as well as my physical health. She is an amazingly good listener, and always makes me feel I have her full time and attention.
