Did not review my chart ahead of time. I brought it to his attention that I was seen by his associate the day before for ear issues. I thought he should be made aware since he is an ENT MD.I checked in for my hearing test and made a point to let the receptionist know I had an appointment immediately after with Dr Raviv to check me in for that. After I was finished with the hearing test I was escorted back to the waiting room and told they would call me back when they were ready for my Dr appointment. I sat there for almost 20 minutes waiting to be seen with everyone else that came in after me called back. I went to the desk where another receptionist was working and questioned why I was not called back and other patients had been and inquired if the Dr was running late and was told no to have a seat. I sat for another 5 minutes then was called back. When the Dr came in I explained I was not late and tried to explain it was not my fault I was being seen late but he acted like he could care less and went on as to why I wanted to see him. It's not my fault the staff screwed up and he was seeing me over 20 minutes later than my scheduled appointment time and he should not act aggravated to me if this messed up his schedule for the morning. Seems like the staff at the front desk need to pay more attention to what's going and less talking and joking around between themselves.

Dr Raviv was very thoughtful and thorough. I had a few different issues and he really helped me manage these and the necessary next steps, etc.

Dr. Raviv did not use gloves while examining my nose and face, and did not use sanitizer at any time. He went between using the computer and nasal examination equipment without using any PPE, which is fairly gross and off-putting. He also suggested a new product fresh to the market that would be paid out of pocket, did not suit my needs and seemed to be a personal project he was trying to push. Most Importantly, he essentially blamed me for my sinus pain and congestion and said I was not trying hard enough with medication and sinus spray to resolve my symptoms, when I explained those options are not a permanent solve for me to take every day. Overall, it was a strange visit and left me feeling upset.

I think he dr raviv could be a little more engaging with the patient. I kind of felt like I was either giving wrong answers or information he found irrelevant. It would be nice to have better interaction in the dialog portion of the visit. Also when he attempts to pull something out of a patient's body part (in my case the nose) he should warn them and be a little more gentle. Although a doctor may feel it should be painless the person it's being done to is the one actually feeling what is being done. I feel dr Raviv is skilled at his profession, I just didn't feel like I was being heard or understood. A little more interaction with me and my concerns would have made me a little more confident in him as a caring physician. Also taking things out of my face without warning and lack of empathy for the pain it caused me had and still has me considering if I would return to him for my follow up care.

My first impression is the practice is organized, professional and yet very cordial. I was very happy with my time seeing Dr. Raviv. He answered all my concerns and gave me solid advice. I made an excellent choice with Dr. Raviv.
