I was extremely happy with how much time and attention Dr. Labowitz gave to me. It was truly a discussion where he tried to solve my problem, not a generic problem
I really like Dr Labowitz. He's easy to talk to about difficult subjects and meals even feel at ease.
Dr. Labowitz is a fantastic gastroenterologist and I would recommend him to anyone.
I was very impressed with Dr. Labowitz's manner, concerns and patience plus his attention to my questions. He was a pleasure to meet with and I sincerely appreciated his thoroughness with his q/a plus his recommendations on next steps. I also appreciated his sharing the history of certain labs and information that provided perspective on his recommendations for my care. He was terrific!
he is so nice and seems like he cares!!
He came in late...did not fully listen to me as I felt beyond dismissed. I was not taken seriously as I tried to explain what was occurring and the pain I was in. I was told "everything starts in your head and mind." He did not want to do any major tests apparently because they were already done but years ago so this makes no sense. He questioned why I was truly there; to get an answer or feel better. I was there for both, as most normal people who are in pain and looking for answers. He did not attempt to figure out an underlying cause but rather dismiss me. I was put on a medication that he basically knew wouldn't be covered by insurance with no alternatives. It wasn't until I questioned his reasoning behind not doing any testing when he said we can send off a stool sample. I was asked nothing about my diet or eating habits as you would expect a GI doctor to ask. Bottom line, this doctor had no compassion and made me feel unimportant and dismissed...that it was in my head. No, I will not be recommending him to anyone.
I sent my husband to Dr. Labowitz. I like him. He knows what he's doing and has a courteous, yet concerned, demeanor.
wonderful personal attention
