I have had nothing but positive things to say about any other doctors that I have had through north shore, but this doctor was horrible enough that I am probably going to pull away from north shore in the future. I have never encountered such an arrogant doctor that talked down to me, minimized all of my issues and blew me off when I tried to tell her what was going on, treated me like there was just no way I could have any issues because I am young, and was so incredibly condescending that I left her office in tears. I have so many questions but I refuse to even talk to her again. I never ever would recommend her to anyone I know
She was excellent and listened to my health problems
Reviewing blood tests, etc
This visit was good because the doctor who I saw for a second opinion has been in contact with Dr. Gimmelfarb with articles about my symptoms/issues. I never was surveyed about my bone marrow biopsy done at Glenbrook, ordered by Dr. Gimmelfarb. It was so awful and traumatizing and I feel the reactions of the nurse and Dr. Gimmelfarb were basically...oh, wow, that doesn't usually happen.
Dr. Gimelfarb has always been concerned for my well-being. She compares iron values with me and their significance.
She had a lot experience but seems too confident not looking at all the information before strongly suggesting the only possible treatment that would compromise my Immune System in the middle of a pandemic!!
Dr. Gimelfarb is amazing. Her knowledge, caring, and ability to explain things is excellent. Wonderful doctor!!
Excellent physician! Fortunate to have him!
Candor and care in perfect balance. Best new doctor experience in a while.

...even for people with a history of clotting there is no increase in risk of clotting from the vaccines,” NorthShore Hematologist Alla Gimelfarb, MD, says.
