Dr Kogan is wonderful
I have already recommended my caregiver to others.
I have been a patient of Dr. Kogan for 21 yrs. He has consistently explained his reasons for specific suggested procedures and has advocated for me when necessary The procedure he performed on me 7 years ago saved my life. I have complete trust in him and am fortunate to have him as my health provider. i
Dr Kogan could not do better. He is my man.
I've been seeing Dr. Alan Kogan for 8 years. one of the best doctors ever.
it was a first visit we were actually trying to get to know each other I felt it to be a comfortable encounter
Dr Kogan is exceptional. I would recommend him to my friends.
Really great physician. Paid attention to me and my issue and thoroughly examined my issue. Great "bedside manner".
I am a regional manager with a high level job. I have two children with extreme adhd. the doctor pigeon holed me as a pregnant woman and then a hysterical woman right away. He only asked about my children. He did not ask if I had a career until I volunteered this information. then he proceeded to only ask questions about how much I vacuum and about my doing laundry. I do neither. I told him that I don't walk up and down the stairs primarily because of my joint pain and secondarily fatigue. I do no laundry. yet he continuously asked me about this. I did tell him I had shortness of breathe and got dizzy when frustrated with my children and had to sit down. I also told him the same about going to the gym the week prior. he was most interested in telling me the gym was not safe. when I saw my report it said that I have no joint pain. I clearly have joint pain. I expressed that as a reason for not doing laundry. he can also see that I take turmeric for this - which he feels is a waste of $. he said I have no shortness of breathe. additionally he reported that I have no abdominal pain. he did not ask me if I do. he can see in my chart I've been complaining of this and have had multiple appt about this to include the same week with gynourology. he told me that he knew before he gave me the ekg that the results would be normal. this is because he prejudged my circumstances in my opinion and had no interest in treating me. he said that if I want a stress test he would order one but that it won't show anything and only serve to make me feel better. well, that would be great. I'd love a stress test. how do I get one without seeing this doctor again? i definitely don't want to see this doctor for anything else. I have a family history of AVMs. i have one in my thumb that's been operated on twice. mya unit had one in her brain and my mother had one in her corroded artery. my mother is 62 and on heart meds due to her three brothers passing from heart attacks and her having a marker. my sister has a residual heart condition feom Lyme disease. he did not care to discuss anything with me other than his preconceived thoughts that I am stressed. I may be stressed and that would be a great outcome. however I have an extremely high pain tolerance. so much so that when he pressed on my abdomen I did not scream out though I easily could have. but he never asked me if it hurt. it did. now I will have to spend more good money and time for another doctor. I'm very disappointed.
