Perinatal Family Support Center
The Perinatal Family Support Center provides a wide array of services to women and their families who experience challenges related to pregnancy, birth, prematurity or perinatal loss. Our clinical staff recognizes the profound impact of high-risk pregnancies and births on the family unit. Using a relationship focused model of care, social workers work hand-in-hand with nurses and physicians to provide patients and families needed assessment, crisis intervention, emotional support and linkage to community resources while promoting family stability. The program is strength-based and culturally sensitive. Services are provided both inpatient and outpatient settings and include support and education groups in the Child and Adolescent Center. The Perinatal Support Center serves approximately 1,800 families annually.
All services of the Perinatal Family Support Center are provided free of charge.
