I value getting to know patients and their families, finding ways to improve health together through education, empowerment, and advocacy.
I enjoy listening to music, singing, travelling, and spending time in nature.
I really liked Dr Shankar's interaction with my son. she was so respectful of him and explained everything to him in a thoughtful and clear way to him. Adults often don't talk to children this way, and I really appreciate it when I witness it.
outstanding doctor! took time to speak with child and parent and really showed a caring touch
I really appreciate how *Dr. Shankar speaks to my children about the reason for their visit.
I would recommend to everyone!
my daughters really love Dr. Shankar. She listens to them and asks great questions to really understand their symptoms and possible solutions.
Doctor we saw seemed very inexperienced. Failed to clearly informed and explained positive results from state's newborn screening test and appropriate course of actions. Results were communicated in haste and quickly deferred our questions (basic) to specialist. This created MUCH unnecessary panic and stress. At the bottom line, I expected her to be able to inform what the test is testing, the procedure, likelihood of false positives, etc.
First time meeting Dr. Shenkar, and she was excellent! Intelligent, confident and very personable with my kids.
You have no idea if someone is a good doctor or not until they do something good or bad I have no information about this doctor at this moment
Very understanding, thorough, caters to your questions & concerns, gets info for you via other resources if needed to ensure it's current & accurate.
very good with my teenage daughter - she actually listened to the doctor
