Treatment Philosophy
“I believe in providing contemporary, compassionate and scientifically validated care to all my patients.” Dr. Ritesh Shah is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in treating hip and knee disorders. He offers advanced treatments including minimally invasive muscle sparing total hip replacements and hip resurfacing, hip arthroscopy for labrum repairs, minimally invasive customized patient specific total knee replacement, partial knee replacement and knee arthroscopy. Dr. Shah also performs revision hip and knee replacements.

Personal Interests
He enjoys treating active athletic patients and helping them return to their high level of activity using novel, cutting edge surgical techniques. Dr. Shah provides the continuum of care for the hip and knee from minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures to complex revision procedures. He has written numerous orthopaedic research articles and book chapters. He has also published surgical and video techniques for technologically advanced preservation and reconstruction procedures. He provides empathetic, innovative, timely, and exemplary care that caters to patient’s individual needs. Dr. Shah educates patients about the natural disease process and expected outcomes to allow them to make educated decisions. His goal is to return patients to full function at or above the level of activity they had prior to developing their condition.
