Treatment Philosophy

Having a good sense of humor is a bonus, and fortunately that’s part of my personality.” Dr. Leon S. Benson is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who also has additional board certification in hand and upper extremity surgery and has extensive experience in treating both adult and pediatric patients. Although most patients can be treated without surgery, when surgical intervention is required, Dr. Benson focuses on the most contemporary treatments that speed recovery times and frequently include minimally invasive options.

Personal Interests
Dr. Benson's personal life in suburban Chicago is centered on his wife and two daughters. His hobbies include photography and training his family's two Portuguese Water Dogs.
