Overall, I was disappointed with my appointment. I've had much more thorough examinations with both chiropractors and physical therapists. I have since sent my x-rays, which Dr. Kannankeril had access to, to another spine doctor who has identified a couple possible issues that Dr. Kannankeril said nothing about. In regard to his mannerisms, he seemed to smirk or almost chuckle as he made his notes. He did seem to notice that I was visibly upset because of the pain and frustration with not having a diagnosis, so I give him credit for that. I chose not to proceed with the recommended follow-up with this doctor.
Dr. K had examined the history and x-ray history of the problem and while this was my first visit to him, he was totally familiar and prepared with complete history and current condition of my problem. I was amazed. He had also consulted my x-rays so that there was total understanding of the problem. This has NEVER happened before with a consult. He is amazing. My daughter, who is a paramedic accompanied me and was amazed at his focus, preparation, and clarity of advice!!!!!!!!!!!
The Doctor was very thorough and efficient
George is an excellent and very thorough doctor.
Dr. Kannankeril provided exactly what I needed: clear description of my condition, clear explanation of options, and displayed a genuine interest in my well being.
Like I said previously in this survery, I sent Doctor a northshore connect about my back pain. He fit me into this schedule the next day. I appreciated him doing that and we were able to start treatment right away.
Very impressive. As a consequence my wife who accompanied me, made an appt. w/*Dr. Kannankeril the next day. One week after the exam I received a steroidal injection which was done quickly & well.
Dr. Kannonkeril- listens, is not an alarmist and takes the time to explain results and any recommendations he may have
Dr. Kannanderil was very professional, on-time, and just a nice guy. I like him and his medical advice very much.
Dr. did not show any concern for the pain I was having. I had to ask him if there was an injection that might help.

Patients often ask me about supplements and it’s easy to understand why. Just about every supermarket has an aisle of “natural” cures that claim to decrease arthritis pain. The question is: Do any of them work?
