Dr Woo listens to me. Follows up on concerning health issues. Pleased to have her as a part of my care team.
Dr Wu listened to my description & concerns. Although she didn't "hear" anything she understood my cough had been going on for months & so ordered an x-ray which did indicate pneumonia
Overall a very good experience. I was, however, surprised that Dr. Woo had to ask me where the hernia was when she was looking right at it. Bulging on one side, and easily identified by a previous doctor. I'm guessing that she's a pretty new and inexperienced doctor.
had she not told me to get an X-ray right away, the pneumonia would not have been diagnosed. I didn't suspect it.
It was my first time meeting Dr. Woo and she was wonderful.
I appreciated Dr. Woo's specific comments added to the test results report.
She is too new to recommend. I don't know her well. My first visit with her.
*Dr. Woo is six months into practice. I had previously received Augmentin for a sinus infection. The infection returned and she prescribed levofloxacin. When I read the associated risks, I immediately asked for a different prescription - I think the risks out weighed the benefit with this drug. She did NOT explain the risks, which go well beyond things like nausea & upset stomach to neuropathy, ruptured tendons - things which may be PERMANENT. This should be a carefully prescribed drug.
Signed Opioid Contract because doctors over prescribed, big pharma dishonestly marketed, some states didn't regulate, lots of doctors ran pill mills, lots of people sold them, lots of people became addicted, the government was asleep at the wheel and the lobbyists paid off Congress. Now people like me, who have been on pain meds for YEARS for serious medical issues, are being treated like irresponsible criminals because the medical profession couldn't police itself at all and the government was completely incompetent.
I had a good experience.
