short interview visit with repeated bp. I expect him to "give a listen" to my heart, but he has not done so on a couple of these follow up visits. I think he must have a good reason for this.
This doctor is a puzzle to me. My initial visit with him about 6 months ago to ask how he would treat my persistent A-Fib. He highly recommended an anti-arrhythmic med named Multaq (rated Two Black Boxes). And did not tell me I would have to continue taking it for many years. At the current visit, he said that he was tired of arguing with me and to choose any treatment for A-Fib that I wanted. I had previously told him what I thought of a med with rating of two Black Boxes. At current visit he ordered a EKG on which my heart rate was 92, to which he said , " Not as bad as he had thought ." So he increased the dose of my current med to control my heart-rate better. He did not add any cautions about what persistent A-Fib does to the heart He said he is tired of arguing with me and I should decide how I wanted to be treated. he did an EKG and prescribed a higher dose of same medicine I was taking to control heart rate better. Six to seven months later and I was finally asked how I wanted my A-Fib to be dealt with or treated! Or whether I could afford the cost of the medicine! Not nice.
Infusion RN recommended dr. #2. Excellent.
Dr. Bergelson is the best cardiologist I have ever seen. He has taken care of both my husband and me.
I feel the dr. could give me more time to give my concerns without feeling rushed!
Dr. Bergelson listened closely and discussed the options in detail. He was very empathetic and professional.
Dr. Bergelson always shows concern and caring for me and my condition. He listens!!!
I would recommend Dr. Berglson without hesitation, and I have.
I have no hesitancy recommending *Dr. Bergelson. My hesitation is in difficulty in talking to someone in office.
he spent all the time necessary to explain my condition and the recommended next steps and likely treatment required. very patient and very complete. my compliments.
