The visit went well and I felt heard.

Dr. Chioros did a good job of explaining the condition. However, he did a poor job of explaining the treatment (in particular, that "the shot" he was going to give me would be 4 injections). Had he explained that to me, I would have asked questions and been perhaps better mentally and emotionally prepared for the injections. They were extremely painful and I was traumatized by the experience.

After keeping me waiting for almost an hour the doctor tells me that he has to take a biopsy of my nail. But since I keep my nails trimmed that I have to wait till they grow out in about 6 weeks, so have to make another appointment. Now what I don't understand why when I made my initial appointment 6 weeks before and mentioned that it was my nail why I was told at that time to let it grow out. And even though it was a waste of my time I was still charged for the visit.
