Nilu Patel helped start the physician recruitment department at NorthShore in 2008. She oversees the recruitment of all Medical Group positions and manages many high-level leadership positions personally. Nilu is an active member of the Association of Staff Physician Recruiters (ASPR) and Illinois Staff Physician Recruiters (ISPR).
Nilu has a Masters degree in Health Administration from the University of Florida, and a bachelors degree in psychology from Emory University. Prior to joining NorthShore, Nilu managed nurse staffing at a community hospital in Florida, and also worked for a large consulting company doing healthcare strategy and operations work for organizations across the globe.

Sandra Chavez

Sandra Chavez has been a part of the recruitment team since 2010. She oversees recruitment for the departments of Surgery, Neurology, Radiology, Psychiatry, Pediatrics, and Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Sandra earned a Bachelor of Administration in Human Resources Management at Loyola University Chicago and holds a PHR certification, Professional of Human Resources Management Professional. Her previous experience includes healthcare recruitment, corporate banking recruitment and sales.
