The Division of Emergency Medicine has developed expertise in several areas with respect to emergency care ultrasound, toxicology, and simulation-based experiential learning.
The Center for Simulation Technology and Academic Research (CSTAR) has been developed over the last seven years to provide state-of-the-art high-fidelity simulation training for practitioners and trainees within our organization. We are nationally recognized leaders in this rapidly developing area of medical training.
Our toxicology consultants are board-certified emergency medicine trained physicians with formal sub-specialty training in toxicology. We are one of the few emergency medicine practices in the country with local expertise within its organization.
Our ultrasound-trained physicians provide education and training to our practitioners and residents so that they can provide the safest care possible to our patients.
