The NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore) Division of Emergency Medicine has been an active partner with the University of Chicago in developing a robust Emergency Medicine training experience for medical students since 2009.
Prior to that, we hosted medical students from Northwestern University for over a decade.
The patient care experiences that students receive in the NorthShore Emergency Department are invaluable to their development into competent and caring physicians. We truly appreciate the patients' and their families' participation and understanding in this process.
