Adult Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

This IOP is designed to provide therapeutic services to patients whose emotional status allows them to participate at a less intensive schedule than the Partial Hospitalization Program.
An IOP program called Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is available at both Evanston and Highland Park Hospitals. This is a skills-based program for individuals who may be struggling with emotional regulation. Skills taught are:
- Emotional Regulation
- Mindfulness
- Interpersonal Effectiveness
- Distress Tolerance
The DBT program is Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The program provides clinically effective treatments for:
- Mood Disorders
- Anxiety Disorders
- Borderline Personality Disorder
- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
- Schizophrenia
Outpatient Services
- Comprehensive Assessment
- Psychiatric Evaluation
- Group Therapy
- Individual Therapy
- Family Therapy
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
- Dialectical Behavioral Therapy
- Psychotherapy

The IOP offers an experienced multidisciplinary team that includes:
