Clinical Research Studies Associated with Dynamic System Models
Clinical research is a critical component of the Center for the Study of Complex Disease. Clinical research studies not only provide important data necessary to build and validate dynamic models, but provide a vital avenue to test the clinical predictions and hypotheses about the underlying mechanisms of disease that these models generate. This is a key step to move the learning from the dynamic system models into improvements in clinical care and treatment of patients with complex diseases.
