MyGenerations is made possible by the generous contributions of the Susan Willis Heiberger Memorial Fund

Your family history of disease is important and powerful information. The Center for Medical Genetics has created MyGenerations to help you to document your family cancer history and determine your own risk of developing cancer. You can share your report with your healthcare providers to help develop an individualized plan for early cancer detection and prevention. MyGenerations also serves as a guide as to whether you should seek a genetics consultation and consider genetic testing.

MyGenerations will:

• Build your personal family tree
• Record your family history of cancer
• Save this record for you to update in the future

MyGenerations will provide:

• A printout of your family tree including your family’s cancer history
• A personalized cancer risk assessment you can share with your healthcare providers

The program will take about ten minutes depending on the size of your family. A progress bar at the bottom of the screen will alert you to your progress.
