Although one of the main areas of focus for dynamic system modeling in the Center for the Study of Complex Disease is gastrointestinal disease, the value of dynamic system models is far greater. Dynamic system modeling has the potential to be applied to a wide array of complex diseases to improve medical treatment, optimize quality, and generally improve patients’ experiences with healthcare.
