Physicians in the Division of Plastic Surgery serve adult men and women as well as children and adolescents with a
broad scope of procedures, ranging from body contouring and aesthetic facial procedures to laser treatment to rejuvenate skin surfaces. To slow down the aging process
non-surgical approaches are available. Physicians and their support staff embrace a philosophy of patient-centered care and being responsive to patient needs and preferences.
Plastic surgery encompasses reconstructive as well as cosmetic surgery. Fellowship-trained plastic surgeons work collaboratively with other specialists to perform complex reconstruction of the face, body and extremities for cancer, traumatic injuries, or congenital defects. Reconstructive microsurgery, used for advanced breast reconstruction, is routinely performed at NorthShore University HealthSystem with a high degree of success.
