Back-to-school season has a lot of us looking for easy, filling snacks that are perfect to grab on the go. Sometimes it can be tricky to find something that is nutritious and keeps us full for an extended period of time. Theresa Desai, RD, Dietitian at NorthShore, shares an easy recipe for a trail mix that has healthy fats, protein and great taste. This recipe is a great way to get kids involved in the kitchen, and is nut free and safe to bring to schools.
