Most good things in life are worth waiting for, but dinner on a busy night is not one of them. If you have an Instant Pot—an appliance that uses high pressure to rapidly cook foods including meats, soups, stews and more—your meal is just minutes away. This hearty turkey chili recipe will help you put dinner on the table faster than you can say, “Tell me about your day.”

Registered Dietitian Lisa Zoberman shares this healthy recipe:

 Ingredients:

1½ tbsp olive oil
¾ cup green pepper, diced
¾ cup red pepper, diced
1 poblano pepper, minced
3 cups yellow onion, diced
1½ lbs lean ground turkey
1 tbsp black pepper
2 tsp cumin
2 tbsp chili powder
3½ cups low-sodium chicken broth
2 6-ounce cans no-salt tomato paste
1½ cups dry Great Northern white beans

Directions:

  1. Set Instant Pot to “Sauté.”
  2. Add oil, peppers and onions. Sauté until onions are clear.
  3. Add turkey and spices, then cook until turkey is almost done.
  4. Rinse beans with cold water and add to pressure cooker with chicken broth and tomato paste.
  5. Close lid and press “Bean/Chili” or “Soup/Broth.”
  6. Cook for 30 minutes, then release steam and open. Stir and serve.
