Center for Pelvic Health
Nearly 25 percent of women suffer long-lasting chronic pain brought on by pelvic floor disorders. However, more than half of those affected do not seek care, choosing instead to lose quality of life and risk other related diseases and increased pain brought on by conditions such as incontinence, constipation or endometriosis – all of which are treatable.
The Center for Pelvic Health at Highland Park Hospital brings together a team of specialists to alleviate the pain and issues of pelvic health through the use of cutting-edge approaches, regular pelvic exams and multi-disciplinary views of women’s health issues. The team includes specialists in gynecology, urogynecology, gastroenterology, colorectal, and minimally invasive (robotic) surgery. The Center exists to improve the physical and emotional health of patients suffering from pelvic disorders and issues.
