Personal Bio
Treatment Philosophy
As a trauma and acute care surgeon, I have the honor and privilege to help people through the worst of circumstances. In what is often the most vulnerable part of their life, I strive to guide patients and their loved ones through complex and difficult situations while also providing the highest level of clinical care. My goal is to be mindful of the patient as a whole and to treat them as I would want to be treated, through compassion and empathy. The most rewarding feeling is to be able to make a difference in the lives of my patients and to be a part of their road to recovery.
Personal Interests
After being away for many years, I am very excited to be home in Chicago. Outside of work, I love spending time with family, friends, and my fiancé (and our two cats). I have a very active lifestyle and enjoy running, rock climbing, and weight lifting. I also love professional sports and one my most favorite experiences was serving as a track physician for Formula 1. I look forward to giving back to the community I was raised in and to hopefully one day be a leader in my field.
