New cardiovascular specialty complex coming to Glenbrook
NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore) recently received approval from the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board to build a new, state-of-the-art Cardiovascular Institute (CVI) complex on NorthShore’s Glenbrook Hospital campus in Glenview.
“Our vision is to be the first choice for patients, families and providers in the communities we serve for the delivery of high-quality, personalized cardiovascular care,” said Gregory Mishkel, MD, Chief, Division of Cardiology and Co-Director, CVI.
This ambulance will be used for community outreach (like CPR, Stroke, and Epi-Pen education) and EMS training by our local fire department and Emergency department.
