Integrative Family Medicine and Health Fellowship

  • The NorthShore University HealthSystem Integrative Medicine Program and Department of Family Medicine are currently seeking exceptional Family Medicine physicians for the Integrative Family Medicine and Health Fellowship, commencing Fall 2016. The selected fellow will be a board certified/board eligible Family Medicine physician or graduating resident with a deep interest and clinical or research experience in Integrative Medicine. The preferred candidate must have a strong interest in establishing a primary care practice in the NorthShore Medical Group (NorthShore), located in Chicago’s northern suburbs. 

    This two-year clinical fellowship includes free tuition and majority of travel expense coverage for the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine’s (AzCIM) online and practicum experience. Other benefits include local mentorship from experienced AzCIM fellowship graduates at NorthShore; a robust primary care and consultative clinic practice; teaching opportunities for medical students and residents from The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine; clinical attending salary and benefits commensurate with clinical hours worked (estimated at 26-30 clinical hours per week); and a collegial and supportive work environment.  Following completion of the AzCIM fellowship, required projects, and passing the ABPS Integrative Medicine Board Exam (within 2 years of fellowship graduation), the graduate would continue to build his or her Integrative Primary Care practice at NorthShore with mentorship from Dr. Mendoza Temple as needed.
